Description: Three piece evening ensemble in metallic blue/purple, black and gold brocade consisting of: A) Dressmaker style coat, calf-length. Closes on left with two covered snaps. Long, straight sleeves. Notched lapel. Lined in royal blue silk. Designer's label at left inside seam: "Adele Simpson" B) Dress. Calf-length, sleeveless, and with a standing collar, the dress is slightly A-line with empire seam. Center back zipper with two hook & loops at collar. Lined in royal blue silk. C) Belt for dress, of same fabric and with rectangular buckle covered in same fabric. Stamped "B Adele Simpson 10C3"

Description: Dress of diagonally ribbed silk of off-white with deep red/orange, large paisley print. Long sleeves with 2" cuffs secured with two self-covered buttons and loops. Above the knee length. 2.5 inch standing collar. Collar closes in back with self-covered button, loop and 4 snaps. Horizontal seam across bust and deep, inverted box pleats falling from sides under bust line; pleats mirrored in back. Four self-covered buttons below collar secured with loops down center back. Zipper in back center from beneath buttons. Lined in ivory silk crepe. Designer's label at center back: "Donald Brooks"

Designer's label at center back neckline: "Bill Blass / for / Maurice Rentner" Union label at center back near bottom of zipper. Retailer's label at center back seam: "Neiman-Marcus"

Around base of crown is a wide band of black grosgrain ribbon, with large know and trailing ribbons at center front. Hat is unlined, with inner pink grosgrain ribbon hatband. Retailer's label at inside hatband: "Lou Lattimore / Dallas" Style/Origin label stamped inside crown: "Martelle / body made in West Germany"

Description: Hat of ivory fur felt. High, cylindrical crown is slightly peaked at front and rounded at back, with flat top having sunken central area. Base of crown encircled by wide ivory grosgrain ribbon hatband with applied "D" shaped gilt metal rhinestone set buckle form, from which extends ends of ribbon. Narrow brim slants downwards, and is slightly wider in front than back. Hat is unlined, with inner ivory grosgrain ribbon hatband. Designer's label on inner hatband: "Betmar" Maker's stamp inside crown: "Merrimac / Merri Soie"(?)

The hat is styled to resemble of turban, with central cylindrical white jersey(?) crown, the sides of which are overlaid with interlaced bands of yellow/brown, blue/gray, red, and white yarn with thin bands of gold ribbon. Lined in white satin, with inner off-white grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. Designer's label on inner hatband: " 'Dachettes' / Designed by Lilly Daché " Label for United Hatters Cap & Millinery Workers at inside hatband.

Description: Kimono. Traditional silk kimono with mid-length sleeves. Snaps at collar for removable collar. The whole is of white silk dyed with an all-over pattern of shibori in a pale orange/pink, which creates a tiny grid with dark brownish dots at center of each square. Lined in silk, upper part of light brown (resembles tea dyed?), lower part of white, and lower hem of orange/red.

Pointed collar and a center front opening that forms a low V neckline closed with two snaps. Unlined. Handwritten tag at center back neckline: "Deborah / 769" B) Pants in harlow style. Full length with extra wide legs. Center back zipper closure with hook & eye and 2-1/2" waistband. Navy silk lining swing tacked to the bottom of the pants hem. Handwritten tag at center front waistband: "Deborah / 769"
