Double breasted with six circular white plastic buttons, three bound buttonholes and three covered snaps; waist length. Wide, rounded neckline. Yoked shoulders of same. Long, set-in sleeves with matching non-functioning button at hem. Lined in ivory silk. Retailer's label at center back neckline: "Neiman-Marcus" b) Sheath style dress of navy wool crepe with cream colored yoke and 1-1/2" band collar. Sleeveless; below knee length. Side slit pockets. Center back zipper with two hook & eyes. Yoke lined in cream colored silk and body of dress lined in navy organdy. Designer's label at center back seam near hem: "Christian Dior / New York, Inc." Retailer's label to left of designer label: "Neiman-Marcus" Union label opposite designer label.

Skirt with box pleat at back. Lined in cream net/muslin. Knit fabric cut horizontally. Center front opening from throat to waist fastened with 5 chased gold-colored metal circular buttons and a single hidden snap at bottom. Skirt gathers at waistline from hips and around back; center front not gathered. Lined in cream, the skirt portion of lining forming inner skirt attached at waistline. Designer's label at inside back collar: "Traina / New York" Care label at inside left lapel: "Dry Clean / Only" Fabric label inside inner skirt: "[logo] / All Pure Wool" and ""The American Way / With Wool / Fabric made in the U.S.A.".

Bracelet length sleeves. Single breasted and closed with a snap at the collar and 2 large self-covered buttons with bound buttonholes. Lined in light sage colored silk. Designer's label at inside right hem of opening: "Christian Dior - New York, Inc." Retailer's label at center back neckline: "Neiman-Marcus" Union label under right armhole. b) Under dress. Short sleeves with gussets. Jewel neckline. Slightly gathered, dropped waistline. Below knee length. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Lined in matching silk. Designer's label at center back seam of lining near hemline: "Christian Dior - New York, Inc."

Description: Cocktail dress of ivory four-ply silk and brown wool crepe. Torso and long sleeves are of ivory silk, and the 5" cuffs and 15" skirt panel are of brown wool crepe. Silk tie at neckline hangs down front and back. Center back opening with 5 self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes supplemented with snaps at neckline. Top portion lined in ivory silk, bottom portion lined in brown silk. Designer's label in skirt: "Norman Norell / New York". Retailer's(?) label sewn into lining, partly obscured: "Saks Fifth Avenue / Helas / Greenhill / 4-19-66 5322". Union label in skirt near designer's label. This garment shows evidence at hemline of having been shortened.

Convertible collar with large lapel and smaller, matching button. Epaulets at shoulders. Vertical slotted pockets with 1-1/2" welt. Long vent down center back closes with single, hidden button. Lined in olive green synthetic fiber fabric. Inner zipper for lining, now missing. With matching belt with brown, rectangular buckle. Brand (?) label inside: "Dimension IV"
