Ensemble - Bodice and Skirt

Description: Ensemble of green and blue plaid cotton with collar and buttons of navy blue velvet. Ensemble consists of: A) Bodice. Waist is fitted with fastening of nine velvet covered buttons and tailored buttonholes, snap at neckline and two hook&eyes at hem. High stand-up collar of velvet. Long sleeves gathered with feather stitching; 6" fitted cuffs. Lined in brown polished cotton. B) Skirt. Full length; gathered on 1" waistband of black cotton with closure of two hook & eyes. Back panel for bustle has waistband of brown polished cotton and ties. One slit pocket at right side seam. 24" waist. Unlined.

Description: Child's coat of off-white cotton faille with box pleats front and back; one each at shoulder and one down the middle of both back and front. Front opening to waist of four small white mother-of-pearl buttons and two snaps at neckline, covered by pleat. Sailor collar embroidered with simple flower and vine pattern and embroidered scalloped edges. Long sleeves have the same treatment for 3" cuffs. Dropped waist with belt loops (belt missing).

Description: Girl's dress of blue calico cotton with white print. Stand up collar. Inset waist with long, gathered skirt. Long sleeves gathered at wrist with drawstrings. Center front opening with 8 button closure. Bodice lined with what may be sugar sack fabric; skirt unlined. Skirt is 33" long with 22" waist.

Description: Day dress of black crepe with yellow-gold print. Round neck, plain front, bodice gathered at shoulder seams, with sleeves cut full at shoulder and narrowing to zippered wrists. Bodice is blouson style drop-waist over short slim skirt. Skirt is topped by a single ruffle which starts at left side and zig-zags around, often going underneath itself. Center back closure of two zippers, one for over-blouse and one for the fitted dress bodice beneath it. Inside is fully lined with couture seams. Retailer's label: "Neiman-Marcus" Care label: "Professional / Dry Clean / Only"

Description: Daytime dress ensemble of cream wool twill with black abstract window pane plaid of stripe and dot print. A) Dress in modified sheath style. Sleeveless. Shallow scooped neckline has split at at center front seam. Below knee length. Pleat at center front hemline has split on inside seam. Side slit pockets. Center back zipper closure with hook & eye. Lined in ivory silk crepe. B) Cape. Waist length with convertible collar. Center front closure of two circular black plastic buttons with bound buttonholes. Lined in silk matching pattern of outer garment. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Galanos"

Description: Evening dress of black polyester with white polka-dots. Knee length. Strapless bodice in "crumb catcher" style with open split at center front. Midriff has 3 inch wide white grosgrain ribbon with 1/2 inch black ribbon applique; double bow of same at center front of midriff. Inverted pleats extending 8 inches from midriff to full skirt. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Built in petticoat with hook & bar closure and triple ruffles of black net at hem. Bodice is boned. Skirt is lined in black organdy and petticoat is lined in black polyester fabric. Designer's label to left of zipper: "Victor Costa". Union label below designer label. Content/care/size label at right side seam of bodice. Tag under lining at side seam: "Lot / Size 6"

Description: Dress of bright green linen. Below-knee-length daytime dress of heavy linen, wrap-style/coat dress. Slight V-neckline formed by the wrap construction. Opening on front left, secured by 2 pairs of large white "woven" plastic buttons, 2 hooks and eyes at top, and 2 hidden snaps at middle.Capped sleeve effect. 2 slit pockets at hips in side seams. Yoke lined in dull gray/green fabric, body lined in a brighter green. Designer's label at inside back neckline: "Donald Brooks"

Knot of matching coil piping on left bottom of bodice and four long strands of same fabric having black faceted teardrop beads at the end of each strand. Center back zipper closure with hook & eye. Description: Evening dress of silver and gold lamé and lace. Full length. Off-the-shoulder, strapless bodice of silver and gold lace in a floral pattern with elbow length fitted sleeves. Fitted bodice is constructed in layers of white net, black net, and silver lace with gold cord applique. Sarong style tubular skirt of gold and silver crinkle lamé. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Black chiffon lining in skirt; bodice is boned and lined in gray synthetic. Designer's label at center back: "Victor Costa / Sample / Style 2174 / Date Fall I '92 / Operator"
