Description: Bridge hat of navy blue straw. The cylindrical crown has a domed top section, and is encircled at the base by a wide band of off-white grosgrain ribbon, with two self bows at front left and right. Hat

Description: Hat of gray felt with gray beads and silver sequins. The cylindrical crown flares from lower edge to upper, and has a low domed, set in top. The surface of the hat is covered in curving, meandering lines of gray beads, enhanced by double-bands of silver sequins which form "zig-zag" motifs on sides, and around dome of crown. Front and sides of hat overlaid with short length of light gray net veil. Hat is unlined, with gray grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. No labels in hat.

Calotte

Description: Calotte. The hat has a conical crown of stiffened green net overlaid with green straw woven/plaited loops and with attached artificial cherries and leaves. The calotte (also spelled "calot") has a thin green velvet trim along base of crown. Label sewn into inner edge of crown: "Styled by / Coralie", with "Finlan" written on edge of label. Behind the Coralie label is a Union label.

Pillbox Hat

Description: Pillbox of navy blue velvet. The low, cylindrical crown is flattened at top, and surrounded by gathers of same cloth "banded" by vertical loops of dark blue satin braiding creating two horizontal bands. Hat is lined in dark blue netting, and was designed with two small combs to help secure it to wearer's head, one now missing. Retailer's label inside: "Harold's / Minneapolis".

Description: Pillbox hat of royal blue velvet. The low, cylindrical crown has a flattened top with a self-covered domed button at top center, and one large horizontal "tuck" around the side forming two sections. The whole is overlaid with a navy blue net veil. Lined in black, with a black grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. Maker's label inside: "Arlington / Hats / Dallas"

Description: Breton hat of black fur felt. The domed crown is encircled at base by a wide band of black grosgrain ribbon, with flat bow at back. The wide brim extends outwards, then curves up sharply, to about 1/3 of height of crown. The brim is faced/lined with same black fur felt. Crown is unlined, with inner black grosgrain ribbon hatband. Hatlet

Description: Hatlet of purple silk and beads. The brimless crown is covered in purple silk with overall top-stitching with black thread making a pattern of small squares or "cobblestones". Over the surface of the hat are small loops of black beads. The crown is basically circular, with two angled triangular projecting sections on either side of wearer's head. Designer's label inside: "Edna Mye / Dallas" Accompanied by two hatpins with heads covered in same purple silk.

Cocktail Dress

Description: Cocktail / late day dress of black silk faille. Shallow scooped neckline, short "kimono" style sleeves with wide turn-backs. Bodice seamed, and with dropped waist. Full, mid-length skirt gathers into waist. Center back zipper with hook-and-eye at collar. Inner petticoat under skirt composed of two layers, inner plain black fabric layer and outer stiffened horsehair layer.
