Description: Hat of black felt. The domed crown is encircled at base by a 1" wide ribon of the same felt, forming a bow at front with trailing end. The shaped brim is turned up at sides and back to a height of 3"; in front the turn-up angles downwards and becomes a short, flat section in front. The crown of the hat is lined in a black mesh, and has an inner black grosgrain ribbon hatband. Designer's label: "Emme Inc. / New York" Retailer's label: "Amen Wardy / El Paso * Texas" Illegible mark of felt maker inside crown.
