This 2nd printing was produced in 1893, and a third printing was done in 1896. The text, a collection of facts and information, is supplemented with various illustrations. In 1896, Salmin of Padova, Italy, printed their Galileo A Madama Christina Di Lorena, which supplanted The Mite as the smallest book in the world printed with movable type. It may still, however, be the smallest book printed in England with movable type.
Quintus Horatius Flaccus [Unbound sheets]2008-05-13T16:42:36-05:00https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc5506/

A complete set of unbound sheets of the last printing of the Pickering Horace. The Horace was originally printed by Pickering in 1820 as the first of his Diamond Classics, and are a landmark in the world of miniature books and printing. This set of sheets are a remarkable survival, giving insight into the printing and binding process. The sheets are quarter-sheet impressions, each sheet holding 8 front-and-back leaves (16 pages) of the text. The sheets have been folded into gathers, and left thus. The separately printed frontispiece engraving is included as an individual sheet. The whole is housed in a book-form leather case.
Win, place, and show, or, the fund raising jack2007-09-28T18:03:35-05:00https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc3558/

Fictional story of fundraising efforts by Father Murphy, who enters his new donkey in various races.
