The Consumer Price Index: Recent Improvements and Prospective Changes

Description: As part of a long running effort to make the Consumer Price Index (CPI) a better measure of price change, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the Department of Labor has made a number of changes in recent years which have affected actual measures of inflation and hence both federal outlays and receipts. Electricity Restructuring and Tax-Exempt Bonds: Economic Analysis of Legislative Proposals
