Crime Control Assistance Through the Byrne Programs

Description: The statute provides that states receive and distribute block grant funds and that the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) of the U.S. Department of Justice awards discretionary grants for specified activities. Description: On May 14, 1999, in American Trucking Ass'ns v.
