INDUSTRIAL ARTS
The Division of Industrial Arts offers, at the un-
dergraduate level, curricula that lead to careers in
industrial technology, manual arts therapy or in-
dustrial arts teaching. At the graduate level, the
Master of Science and the Master of Education and
the Doctor of Philosophy degrees in curriculum
areas such as college teaching or administration
with an industrial arts minor are also available.HEALTH
The division of Health Education offers courses
for students seeking knowledge about their health
along with methods by which to live a healthy life.
In addition, courses are offered for students major-
ing in health education, with career goals in school
health or community health.
The students majoring in health education re-
ceive a Bachelor of Science degree.GUIDANCE
The undergraduate program in guidance studies is de-
signed to prepare guidance associates for employment in
public schools, agencies, and community colleges. The
guidance studies program emphasizes competencies in per-
sonal development, coordination of guidance services, ca-
reer education, group guidance, appraisal, placement and
follow-up.I
