SCHOOL OF COMMUNITY
SERVICEThe School of Community Service is composed of several Centers and units engaged in research and public
service. Some offer degree programs, which may include cooperative arrangements with colleges and depart-
ments of the University. The School also offers a program leading to the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences
degree.
Program in criminal justice, economic education, rehabilitation, aging, and manpower are offered. In
addition, the School coordinates the offering of extension and correspondence courses by various departments
of the University.
The School has primary responsibility for many of the University's activities in continuing education,
including noncredit courses, seminars and workshops. The School also sponsors service programs and maintains
the State Historical Collection.I
