News Bulletin of the ACS Division of Chemical Literature
DIAMOND JUBILEE MEETING
TO ATTRACT MANY
Sessions of the Division of Chemical Literature at
the ACS Diamond Jubilee Meeting in New York,
September 4-7, are expected to attract record
attendance. Scheduled to be held at the Commodore
Hotel are five half-day sessions which include
symposia on mechanical aids to chemical documentation,
communication of chemical information, and
chemical nomenclature. In all, 33 papers will be
presented. Abstracts of these papers appear in
this issue.
The business meeting of the Division is scheduled
for 4:40 P.M. on Tuesday, September 4. Its
luncheon has been arranged for 12: 10 P.M. on
Thursday, September 6; P. E. Verkade of the
Technische Hoogeschool of Delft, Holland, will be
the speaker.
