S. Wilen, S. Lamb, P. O'Neil, and M. Palma.
The committee reviewed revisions of the DIALOG and
STN modules, and decided to begin distribution of
the updated versions. The Committee also discussed
the need for a more comprehensive revision sometime
in the future. To date 301 STN Chemical Search
Modules, and 238 DIALOG Chemical Search Modules
have been distributed.
The DIALOG and STN Patent Modules became available
in late 1988. To date 133 DIALOG Patent Search
Modules, and 128 STN Patent Modules have been distributed.
Further work is needed to complete the

The third draft of the Citation Search module was reviewed.
S. Wilen discussed the possibility of writing
an article that focuses on citation searching for publication
in J. Chem. Ed. The article would mention the
Citation Searching Module.
A. Kozlowski reported that the Editor of J. Chem. Ed.
is willing to publish a column twice a year that dealswith topics related to chemical information. A.
Koslowski will work on writing the first article that will
include a description of the Education Committee
