Bacterial proteinase from waste asparagus butts, L. KLINE, L. R. MACDONNELL,

trimmings was found to have potentialities for use in industrial microbiological
media. The authors describe the use of this juice for producing bacterial proteinase,
reproducible yields of this enzyme being obtained on asparagus juice media
