Hatlet

Description:

Hatlet of black plastic tubing. The low crown is made of a tight spiral of twisted black plastic tubing with four open areas near the edge. The front edge of the crown extends to form 4 points, each of which is surmounted by a "bow" of similar shiny black tubing tying together pairs of shiny black plastic ovals. The back edge of the crown extends to form two semi-circular lobes. Overlaying the crown, but beneath the "bows" is black netting veil, with small pieces of black tubing worked into some of the intersections at front of hat. The inside of the crown is lined with black mesh. Two plastic combs, one to each side, are inside crown of hat to secure it to wearer's head.
