Abstract: This paper is based on a presentation made at the American Vocational Association Conference, Denver, CO, December 1995. The strategic planning of technology framework introduced in this paper is broken into five distinctive parts: Student technology, teacher technology, teacher training, technology planning cycle, and technology cost. This framework is designed to assist technology planners, teachers (academic and vocational), and administrators as they begin planning for future technology implementation in their school district.
