Abstract: This report, by the University of North Texas Center for Economic Development and Research, examines key demographic and economic characteristics of the City of Denton, Texas, including current and future population growth trends and employment outlook. Particular attention is given to five focus industries including retail trade, medical services, aerospace/aviation, manufacturing, and research and development. This report also briefly updates the status of several of the largest property developments either underway, under construction, or in the planning stages that will impact near term growth trends in the City of Denton.
