VOLUME II IUNE, 1985 NUMBER 3
Labor Day week-end cannot be far behind now that we have just
celebrated Memorial Day. The Summer will pass very quickly, so firm up
your plans to be at the Grand Conclave in Burbank, California August 30
through September 2. A great program has been planned for you. You
should all have received a special Grand Conclave III mailing which
included reservation cards for the Airport Hilton in Burbank and
information about registration, the program of events, etc. If you have not,
contact me as soon as possible and I will mail you all the information. If
you wish, you may make an advance reservation by sending $75.00 to Mr.
& Mrs. E. W. Holland, 1340 Beaudry Blvd, Glendale, CA 91208.
A Miniature Book Fair and Auction will be held again this year. If
you have anything to contribute for the auction, whether a miniature book
or some other related materiels, mail them to Msgr. Weber who is in
charge of the Auction this year. Whatever you send will be deeply
appreciated, as this is one way that we help meet our operating budget for
the year.

that has carefully studied various ways to change the structure of the
M.B.S. They have found thathere is a definite need for a greater
distribution of duties as it is getting to be too much for one person to
handle. Alternative proposals are presented for your consideration and
approval.
PLAN A: This would leave the running of the organization in the hands of
the Board of Governors, very much as it is now. They would select their
own Chairman from the Board of Governors and designate from the
membership at large, a Secretary, Treasurer, Editor of the MiniBitS,
Membership Chairman, Editor of the Directory, and make any other
