COI News Notes
A recent state report recognizes UNT
for offering the most affordable public research
university education in Texas. According to the
report, UNT's resident cost of attendance is
lower than cost to attend the state's two public
research universities and six other emerging
research universities.
UNT's incoming freshman class for fall
2011 not only increased in size by more than
300 students, but also represents one of the
most academically talented and degree-focused
freshman classes. Many freshmen came from
the top tier of their classes, earned higher SAT
test scores than past classes, and are already
demonstrating a strong commitment to earn their
degrees within four years by taking more credit
hours.
